Public Comment & Grievance Procedures

The City of Lodi provides opportunities for interested persons, including individuals with disabilities or organizations representing individuals with disabilities, to participate in the review and development of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan by submitting comments and making specific recommendations.

Please check for meeting announcements for the City ADA Advisory Panel, the Lodi Improvement Committee, and the Lodi City Council.

Filing a Comment or Complaint

The City of Lodi has adopted a formal grievance procedure providing for prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging any action that would be prohibited by Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Grievance Form can be submitted to the ADA/Section 504 Coordinator.

If you wish to file a complaint under Title III regarding a private business or public accommodation, you may file a complaint with the Federal Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice or with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH). If you have an issue related to the Fair Housing Act, you may file a complaint with the Federal Office of Housing and Urban Development Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO).
