The traditional egg hunt might be canceled, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy finding colorful eggs! We’ve partnered with Lodi Rocks! and Macaroni Kid Lodi to bring you a new kind of egg hunt this spring. Let’s get crafty with these 2 ideas to bring joy to our neighbors!
Visit the event page on Facebook!
Step 1: Paint rocks to look like Easter eggs or with a spring theme. Join the Lodi Rocks! Facebook page for inspiration.
Step 2: Place decorated rocks at your neighborhood park or in your yard for others to enjoy. Do not place any rocks on turf/grass areas, only on hard surfaces. Please refrain from picking up any other decorated rocks. Take photos of “eggs” you find and post on the Facebook event page.
Step 3: During the week of April 6-10, take a walk and see how many “eggs” you can spot around your neighborhood park (keeping at least 6-feet of social distancing).
Step 1: Print out a Hoppy Egg-Venture 2.0 coloring sheet.
Step 2: Color your picture, post a photo on the Facebook event page for all to enjoy, and then hang in your front window.
Step 3: During the week of April 6-10, take a walk and see how many coloring pages you can spot around your neighborhood (keeping at least 6-feet of social distancing).
Reminders: Parks are still open for outdoor activity and taking walks. Keep 6-feet of social distancing at all times. Do not pick up any other rocks that you find. Enjoy the beauty that others in your community have created! Post photos to our Facebook event page!
