Friends of the Lodi Public Library

Founded in 1979 the Friends of the Lodi Public Library are dedicated members and volunteers who care about the library and seek to promote its welfare.

Friends support programs in the Lodi Public Library for children, teens, adults, library staff, and the greater Lodi community through fundraising activities and the Friends Bookstore located in the library.

The Friends Board meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 5:30 pm in the library. The meetings are open to all members and to the public.

Great books at great prices can be found by savvy shoppers who visit the Friends Bookstore, located just off the lobby; turn left toward the Community Room. There are books on a wide variety of subjects in a variety of formats, fiction and non-fiction, hard cover and paperback, for children and adults. Most cost between $.50 and $1.00—and look for frequent specials!

Bookstore hours:
Monday – Thursday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Friday: Closed
Saturday: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 – 4:00 pm

Proceeds from the Friends Bookstore pay for library programs and support other library needs. The bookstore is completely a volunteer effort, and is always looking for donations of "gently-used" books for the bookstore---and for volunteers to help sort, price and assist in the bookstore!
