Is there a charge for Interlibrary Loan Services?
There’s a $2.00 shipping charge for each interlibrary loan item we receive.
The shipping fees will be charged to patron’s Lodi Library account, upon receipt
of the item. Also, ILL Items not picked up by a patron will result in $1.00
restocking fee on top of the shipping fee.
How long does it take, and what’s the loan period? Can I renew an ILL book?
A requested item should arrive in 10 days to three weeks, depending upon how
widely available it is and the location of the library sending it. The loan
period will be determined by the library that is supplying the items. Patrons
having items that are not returned by the end of the circulation period, the due
date, will be charged $1.00/day. You may not renew an ILL book.
